Completing the fellowship
Dr Wu Kang has completed an AOA-accredited shoulder arthroscopy and arthroplasty fellowship.
His research during the year
He co-wrote a paper on the allograft-prosthetic composite approach for proximal humeral bone deficiency in revision reverse shoulder arthroplasty, which concerns shoulders where a previous replacement has failed and significant bone has been lost from the upper humerus.
His research on releasing the long head of the triceps during reverse shoulder arthroplasty was expected to be published later in the year.
What next
He moves to London, Ontario, Canada, for a fellowship with George Athwal. All the best.
