📢 Exciting Advancements in Reverse Shoulder Replacement Surgery! 📢

I am thrilled to share our recent study on a novel technique for reverse shoulder replacement using an undersized humeral stem in a Grammont-style implant. This technique allows surgeons to precisely position the implant, aiming to minimize complications and maximize patient function.

Our research has demonstrated outstanding post-operative outcomes, with notably low rates of stress shielding and implant loosening, while ensuring excellent functional results for patients.

This work highlights the ongoing evolution of reverse shoulder replacement surgical techniques, focusing on implant positioning and sizing to optimize joint position and function.

A special thanks to our first author, Roberto Pareyón Valero, for his dedication and expertise. Roberto is deeply passionate about shoulder pathology, biomechanics, and arthroscopic procedures. As a former fellow of the Brisbane Shoulder Fellowship, he now practices in the Mexico City Metropolitan area, bringing invaluable experience and knowledge to the field.

Read more about our study and the promising future of shoulder surgery. Let's continue to innovate and improve patient outcomes together!
