It is a pleasure to be involved with Medartis in organising a course for Australian orthopaedic surgeons to look at the treatment of proximal humeral fractures. The course will include discussion regarding decision making in the management of shoulder fractures as well as laboratory surgical sessions fixing pre-fractured specimens which will undergo CT examination before and after fixation. I am privileged to be part of a very experienced faculty. It is going to be an exciting course.
