We welcome Dr Kieran Hirpara as the inaugural Brisbane Hand & Upper Limb Shoulder Fellow. Kieran is an Irish trained Orthopaedic surgeon who will be with us for the next 12 months.
The fellowship is a post graduate fellowship in shoulder surgery that has recently been established by Dr Cutbush, Dr Duke and Dr Ross. It is open to all Orthopaedic surgeons with an interest in shoulder surgery.The position is a clinical and research position that runs for 12 months. Fellows receive training in advanced arthroscopic techniques including arthroscopic latarjet, arthroscopic AC joint reconstruction, arthroscopic rotator cuff repair; and will gain extensive experience in shoulder arthroplasty including total shoulder arthroplasty and reverse arthroplasty.
