Speaking about rotator cuff repairs and how to increase the success rates for repairs at the Royal North Shore Hospital Symposium on Friday.
Several large international studies have reported retear rates of 30 to 40% following rotator cuff repair surgery. It is important to find better ways to repair these tears. I don’t think I would want to be a patient undergoing an operation with a 40% failure rate.
Another fantastic meeting. Congratulations to Ben Cass and Allan Young for arranging such a great meeting. Thanks for inviting me to speak!
