Noel Peter is leaving Brisbane for a post in Oxford after completing a shoulder fellowship with me in Australia. He is joining the Buckinghamshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust. Di, my wonderful GP surgical assistant and wife of one of my best friends, and I both like the going away present we have chosen for him, a pair of very Aussie, RM Williams boots. We love how good he looks wearing them. We both wish him well and know that leaving us he understands how important it is to look after our people with problem shoulders. Noel has completed an Australian Orthopaedic Association (AOA) accredited fellowship programme in shoulder arthroscopy and arthroplasty at the Princess Alexandra Hospital & Brisbane Private Hospital. I want to send out a big thank you to all the people that supported me in setting up this fellowship programme that has allowed me to contribute to training the next generation of shoulder surgeons.
