Proud to share our latest publication in the Journal of Shoulder and Elbow Surgery: “Combined cuff repair and superior capsular reconstruction reinforcement in patients with massive rotator cuff (re)tears: a minimum 2-year clinical and radiological follow-up.”
In this study, we explored outcomes following a combined rotator cuff repair and superior capsular reconstruction reinforcement (CRACR). While we saw significant improvements in patient-reported shoulder function and pain at two years, imaging revealed isolated failures. Highlighting the importance of longer-term follow-up.
This adds to the ongoing discussion on alternatives to shoulder replacement for complex massive cuff tears.
