Recently Ashish and I had the great pleasure of hosting Dr Radhakrishna Kantanavar in our fellowship programme. Radhakrishna is Assistant Professor,
Department of Orthopedic Surgery, MVJ Medical College and Research Hospital, Bangalore Rural. Every year in India 100 000 doctors sit the surgical exam which they have to pass in order to train as surgeons. Radhakrishna came third when he sat the exam which gained him a place in the Orthopaedic programme at the prestigious KEM Hospital in Mumbai. To be accepted into the KEM programme you have to place in the top 150 out of the 100 000 doctors sitting the surgical exam......
