Dr Cutbush has had an article accepted for publication by the international medical journal the Journal of Shoulder and Elbow Surgery in their techniques in shoulder and elbow surgery. The article is entitled "Arthroscopic Latarjet Stabilisation of the Shoulder with Capsulolabral Repair”. The paper was submitted in February 2015 and accepted for publication in March. The article discusses Dr Cutbush’s technique of labral and capsular repair combined with an arthroscopic latarjet procedure. Dr Cutbush presented in the article the results of 22 cases of arthroscopic latarjet procedures in which he repaired the anterior labrum and capsule arthroscopically.The advantages of the arthroscopic labral repair combined with the arthroscopic latarjet are that it adds to the strength of the instability reconstruction, it places the bone block in an extracapsular position, and assists in dealing with patients that have complex instability problems.
