Therapy

As part of your post operative rehabilitation therapy is an essential component. Many hand and upper limb surgeries require intensive therapy for an optimum outcome.

Hand therapists are physiotherapists and occupational therapists that undertake sub-specialist training in hand therapy. Dr Cutbush works with two groups of therapists at his office location at Brisbane Private Hospital. These are Extend Rehabilitation and Ekco Hand Therapy. The Extend and Ekco therapists provide the highest level of expertise for rehabilitation of patients having undergone surgery on the hand, elbow or shoulder.

Postoperative therapy

Dr Cutbush's office will normally assist patients in booking therapy appointments. In most instances it is possible to coincide therapy appointments with Dr Cutbush’s appointments. If you have a regular therapist that is involved in your care please let Dr Cutbush know so that you continue to see your therapist.
